A new enhancement has been added to the official destination website for Weston-super-Mare www.loveweston.com, to provide yet more benefits to hoteliers in the resort.
Polling allows accommodation providers the ability to use the online booking facility provided by Love Weston as a central online diary alongside multiple online booking operators that they may already use, or wish to sign up to, without the need to update their availability separately for each booking site.
This means, for example, that if a provider uses Queensborough, Laterooms and Booking.com, by adding their accommodation availability to loveweston.com means that if a room sells on one site, all the other sites are automatically updated.
Our tourism consultant, Debbie Matthews said “As a former hotelier I know how time consuming updating online diaries can be. At busy times when using more than one provider there is always a worry of over-booking which often causes hoteliers to show no availability rather than take risks. The polling software is a major enhancement to the Love Weston website, and is a new development by New Mind|tellUs that was not available when the website was launched last June so we are delighted to now be able to offer this feature”
The polling software links with Booking.com, Laterooms, Superbreak, Hotelopia, Hostelworld, Premier Inn, Hilton, Hoseasons (Cottages4You), eviivo, Queensborough, Roomcheck (Guestlink), OneUp/Ibex and Supercontrol.
