A new play area has been installed at Lynch Farm, North Worle, by Weston-super-Mare Town Council.
With a multi-play unit, basket swing, spinning disc and toddler and junior swing, the play area caters for children up to 12 years of age.
Malcolm Nicholson, Town Clerk said:
‘Outdoor play is essential for children’s social and personal wellbeing and the Town Council is delighted to offer this much improved facility for residents in North Worle.’
The new play area which can be accessed from Lower Kewstoke Road, or Castle Road was designed and installed by Sutcliffe Play and replaces the set of swings that was originally on the site.
Lynch Farm play area is part of an ongoing investment by the Town Council into play areas, with Canberra Road play area next to be redeveloped.
