Explore Weston-super-Mare this half term as Weston Town Council and Crosville launch their new tour bus. From Saturday 25 May to Saturday 31 May, visitors to Weston can explore the seafront and town on an open-top or vintage bus. With stops at the SeaQuarium, Grand Pier, Water Adventure Play Park and near North Somerset Museum, there are plenty of options for a day out by the seaside.
Tours will run throughout the bank holiday weekend and half term from Saturday 24 May to Saturday 31 May. Daily tours recommence from Monday 16 June and will continue throughout the school holidays.
As well as seeing the sights of Weston-super-Mare from the tour bus, there will also be a number of discounts available for local attractions when a tour bus ticket is shown. Offers include money off travel on the scenic bus to Sand Bay and the land train along the promenade, also operated by Crosville.
For the full range of discounts available, just pick up a timetable and voucher booklet from the tour bus driver, Weston library or the Tourist Information Centre at the Winter Gardens.
Hop on and off the tour bus all day with an adult rover ticket for just £3.50. Children travel for £2.50 and discounts for concession pass holders will also be available.
The new tour bus is funded by Weston Town Council and operated by Crosville Motor Services, with support from North Somerset Council in procuring and promoting the service.
Malcolm Nicholson, Town Clerk said “The Town Council is working to attract more visitors to our town. We hope this will be a fun way for visitors – and local people as well – to explore Weston and discover its attractions.”
