SUMMARY:FREE mindfulness and nature connection at Ellenborough Park West
DESCRIPTION:Come along to Ellenborough Park West for a FREE mindfulness session led by Steve. The sessions will be accessible for beginners and experienced participants alike and can be experienced as a one-off session or a progression over the summer. \nWe will begin with a short mindfulness/meditation practice to bring ourselves into the moment with a deeper awareness of ourselves. We will then take that awareness and presence out into the park to connect with and experience nature more deeply from a grounded and centered place. \nSteve has worked with trees and nature for over 30 years and has practiced various spiritual disciplines for longer. His work is based on 20 years of teaching the meditations and energy work of Michael Barnett\, as well as practicing healing arts and body work. He is excited to bring the two worlds together and provide a space for people to experience themselves and nature in a conscious and deeper way that will open them to the healing possibilities that being in nature can bring. \nNo booking required – please arrive ready for a prompt 10:00am start. SUMMARY:FREE mindfulness and nature connection at Ellenborough Park West
DESCRIPTION:Come along to Ellenborough Park West for a FREE mindfulness session led by Steve. The sessions will be accessible for beginners and experienced participants alike and can be experienced as a one-off session or a progression over the summer. \nWe will begin with a short mindfulness/meditation practice to bring ourselves into the moment with a deeper awareness of ourselves. We will then take that awareness and presence out into the park to connect with and experience nature more deeply from a grounded and centered place. \nSteve has worked with trees and nature for over 30 years and has practiced various spiritual disciplines for longer. His work is based on 20 years of teaching the meditations and energy work of Michael Barnett\, as well as practicing healing arts and body work. He is excited to bring the two worlds together and provide a space for people to experience themselves and nature in a conscious and deeper way that will open them to the healing possibilities that being in nature can bring. \nNo booking required – please arrive ready for a prompt 10:00am start. DESCRIPTION:Come along to Ellenborough Park West at 10:00am for a free guided tree walk. This will be facilitated by the Town Council’s expert arboriculturalist\, Steve\, who has worked with trees and nature for over 30 years and has a wealth of experience about our local trees. \nThe session is suitable for all ages\, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions! We will go ahead in light rain but please come prepared for the weather as the session will take place totally outside. We will meet by the park noticeboard for a prompt 10:00am start.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a community litter pick in collaboration with the Fridge of Free Stuff & Hub Zero. We will meet by the noticeboard in Ellenborough Park West and carry out a litter pick from there to the Fridge of Free Stuff\, covering the whole park to keep it looking clean and cared-for! \nYou are welcome to join us for all or part of the event – we appreciate any help. Equipment will be provided but please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear. The event will take place in light rain but may be cancelled in the case of bad weather.
