Water Adventure Play Park

1. Promoter

• This competition is organised by Weston-super-Mare Town Council.

2. Who Can Enter

• Open to children aged 12 years and under.
• Parent or guardian permission is required to enter.
• Employees of Weston-super-Mare Town Council and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

• Colour in the official competition sheet.
• Add their own creative characters.
• Create a story around the characters and images.

Entries must be submitted as a physical copy only.

• A downloadable PDF version is available to print at home; however, digital submissions will not be accepted.

Completed entries must be handed in to:

• Weston Museum reception, Burlington Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1PR
• Weston-super-Mare Town Council reception, 32 Waterloo Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1LN

The official deadline for entries is 4:00pm on Friday 20th March 2026.

• Late entries will not be accepted.

 

4. Entry Details

Each entry must clearly include:

• Child’s full name
• Age
• Contact telephone number of child’s guardian

Entries must be the child’s original work.

Only one entry per child is permitted.

5. The Prize

One winner will receive:

• Three season passes for unlimited free entry to the Water Adventure Play Park for the 2026 season.

The winner will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form. Weston-super-Mare Town Council will make up to three attempts to contact the winner; if no response is received within a reasonable timeframe, the Council reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The prize is non-transferable.

No cash alternative will be offered.

Season passes are subject to the Water Adventure Play Park’s standard terms of entry.

6. Judging & Winner Selection

• Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, and storytelling.
• The judging panel’s decision is final.
• The winner will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form.

7. Use of Entries

By entering, parent/guardians agree that Weston-super-Mare Town Council may:

• Display entries at Weston Museum or Town Council offices
• Share entries on the Council’s website and social media channels
• Use only first names and ages will be used when displaying entries.

8. Data Protection

Personal information will be used solely for the administration of this competition and handled in accordance with data protection legislation. Details will not be shared with third parties.

9. General

Weston-super-Mare Town Council reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
