Tourism

Weston-super-Mare and its range of attractions such as its superb beach, Grand Pier, traditional donkey rides and level, broad promenade is easily accessed by road and rail and is only a half hour drive by bus or car from Bristol Airport. It also offers easy access to the most beautiful Somerset countryside and is only a short distance from major attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol and Taunton. Weston Town Council supports tourism for Weston-super-Mare itself and encourages visitors to stay in Weston-super-Mare as a base from which to explore the appealing surrounding area.

Weston Town Council acknowledges that Weston-super-Mare represents one of the most popular holiday and tourist destinations in the Southwest and has funded a targeted and continuous advertising campaign called Visit Weston to keep the town and its constant developments at the forefront. Weston Town Council also operates the fabulous and intimate Blakehay Theatre, the Waterpark & Adventure Playground and Weston Museum.

Accommodation providers, attractions, shops, restaurants and tourism related businesses can partner with Love Weston to benefit from the promotional work done by Love Weston to increase tourism.
