Clara’s Kiosk is based at the popular Water Adventure Play Park on Weston’s seafront, serving families, visitors and splash-happy guests all season long. We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to help deliver great food, great service and great experiences.

About the Role

As part of the kiosk team, you’ll be right at the heart of the action. Working alongside the Kiosk Supervisor and Kiosk Assistant and volunteers, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly by:

  • Serving hot and cold food and drinks with a smile
  • Greeting guests and delivering excellent customer service
  • Helping open, close and set up the kiosk each day
  • Keeping the kiosk clean, safe and welcoming
  • Following food hygiene, health and safety guidelines
  • Handling cash and end-of-day banking
  • Supporting the wider team during busy periods

Some days are non-stop, some are steady — but no two are ever the same.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in doing a good job. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in catering or customer service

  • Confidence working in a busy, customer-focused environment

  • A calm, positive and friendly approach

  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

    You’ll also be happy to:

  • Work weekends and outdoors as part of a seasonal attraction

  • Undertake a DBS check

  • Complete a Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification

Housekeeping Supervisor

Help us care for some of Weston-super-Mare’s most valued public spaces.

Weston-super-Mare Town Council is recruiting a motivated and reliable individual to join our newly appointed Housekeeping Team. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail and can work both independently and as part of a team.



Transferable skills and a positive attitude are highly valued and we welcome applications from candidates with experience from a wide range of sectors.

About the Role

This is an important frontline role helping us maintain our public buildings and community spaces to the highest possible standard for residents, visitors and staff.

You will work across a variety of sites including:


  • Weston Museum

  • Old Town Quarry

  • Council Offices at 32 Waterloo Street


Clean, safe, welcoming and well maintained for the community.



Duties across the roles may include:


  • Cleaning public areas, offices and facilities
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  • Maintaining toilets and welfare areas
  • Replenishing supplies
  • Waste removal and recycling
  • Supporting hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Opening and securing buildings (Supervisor role)
  • Supporting stock control and COSHH records (Supervisor role)
  • Working across multiple Council sites (holiday and sickness cover)
  • Supervising and supporting team members (Supervisor role)

We’re Looking for People Who

You may already work in:

  • Cleaning or housekeeping
  • Hospitality

  • Facilities management
  • Care or support services
  • Retail or customer service

  • Operational or maintenance roles



However, we are equally keen to hear from people with transferable skills who:


  • Take pride in maintaining high standards

  • Have strong attention to detail

  • Are reliable and well organised

  • Can work independently and within a team

  • Have a positive and proactive attitude

  • Are comfortable working across varied locations

  • Can communicate professionally with colleagues and the public



Previous supervisory experience and understanding of COSHH procedures would be beneficial.
