Preparation of the two-course cooked meal that St Pauls has been providing to some of the most vulnerable families in South Ward and surrounding areas who normally attend Messy Church on a Sunday (and get a cooked meal).
Since Covid-19 began they have cooked and delivered over 550 meals on a Sunday to up to 70 families. The meals are cooked in accordance to Covid-19 precautions and then transported to the families. We have heard from many of these what a life-saver this and how lovely it is to get a homemade meal for all the family. The weekly contact is also greatly welcomed.
This information can be used to thank Western Power Distribution who awarded a grant towards the costs of this food.
