Parks and play areas.
We are increasingly aware that we are getting more members of the public contacting us about groups of youngsters in our play areas. Thank you for doing so during this time of Covid-19.
The play areas still remain closed and should have their gates banded shut, with a sign stating they are closed.
We are aware that a high number of our sites have been broken into, either by damaging the banding or climbing over.
The Operational Grounds Team are aware of this and they are locking play areas with chains and replenishing signage.
It also appears there has been an increase of litter in the play areas which will be cleared on the dog bin rounds.
We want everyone to have fun in the sun, however, we do want to keep you and your family safe. Thank you for helping us to do that.
