Join us later this month for the highly anticipated return of the Weston Armed Forces & Emergency Services Day 2024! Taking place on Saturday, 22 June, this free event promises a day full of joy and heartfelt tributes, celebrating the incredible work of our local Armed Forces family and 999 responders.
Visitors of all ages will be treated to a variety of arena displays, engaging exhibits, thrilling demonstrations, and themed entertainment throughout the day. The events start with a grand Parade along the seafront, starting from the Grand Pier and culminating in the arena for the Opening Ceremony. Highlights include Blitz Time Sally, The Silver Bugles Band, Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Band, and a final muster where Air Marshall Sir Julian Young will take the Salute.
The Beach Lawns will be transformed into two arenas: The Armed Forces Village and the Emergency Services displays.
Please note that due to the nature of the event, display times and activities may be subject to change or cancellation at short notice based on operational demands of the emergency services.
