As new spaces and assets transfer to Weston-super-Mare Town Council through devolution, we’ll be creating opportunities for residents and community groups to get involved and help shape the future of these spaces.
Here you can view any upcoming opportunities to have your voice heard, get involved and attend our Community Conversation sessions and pop-ups. Keep an eye out – there’s plenty to come, and we’re excited to bring the community along with us.

Help Shape the Future of Green Spaces & Community Library Provision in Worle and Milton
Do you have memories, stories or ideas about some of our local green spaces? Does Worle need a Community Library? We’d love to hear from you!
Weston-super-Mare Town Council is inviting residents to join our first Devolution Community Conversation, where you can share your experiences and help us explore how local spaces and services could best serve the community in the future.
We’ll be talking about:
- Village Green (The Rows), Worle BS22 6EG
- Milton Rose Garden, Milton Road, Milton BS22 8EQ
- Verbena Way, Summer Lane, Mead Vale, South Worle BS22 6RZ
- The need of a Community Library within Worle
The sessions will be held on Tuesday 1 September 2026 at Worle Community Centre (Lawrence Road, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 6TU)
We will be running two sessions:
- 2:00pm–3:00pm
- 6:00pm–7:00pm
We’re particularly keen to hear about your memories and experiences of these spaces, what you value about them, any concerns you may have, and your ideas for their future!
Your local knowledge can help us better understand the history of these spaces and what matters most to the people who use them.
