Where’s the Visitor Information Centre? The answer is it’s about to be EVERYWHERE!
Weston Town Council recently ran a survey and took note of the responses that the Visitor Information Centre housed at the Tropicana building was too far from the town centre.
Although the VIC will stay at the Tropicana building in addition, it will have a satellite location at the Water Adventure Play Park on the seafront.
The Town Council have also purchased two electric Tuk Tuk’s to attend events and get around town to supply information and maps.
We often hear that people don’t know what is going on in the town especially people who are not on social media. The Visit Weston Website is there to provide that information, however, the presence of the Tuk Tuk’s with knowledgeable staff will help bridge the gap so people can learn ‘what’s on’ in Weston.
