Grove Park has had a slide installed, replacement springy and spinning plate and the team have re-painted the existing play equipment – giving it a new lease of life!
Ellenborough Park – we are pleased that the replacement net on the multinet has been installed, and the new twister and the flat swings have been reinstated after needing to be dug out and reset.
Dartmouth Close – has been subject to vandalism with the mural wall being damaged. Big Worle and the Grounds team cleared this and we are in contact with Alliance Homes regarding the wall ownership and repairs.
Clarence Park has had a replacement net bridge on the multi play, replacement trim trail ropes, replacement springy and twister as well as replacement seats for the sea saw. We also received an incredibly kind donation from Mr Fraser on behalf of his late sister to replace the flat swings at Clarence Park and to replace with an all-inclusive spider swing. The team have re-painted the remaining play equipment to help preserve the life of the existing play equipment and brighten it up.

Ashcombe Upper Play Area – is in the process of being repainted by the grounds team to preserve the life of the equipment and to brighten it up over the winter months.
Millennium Green Play Area – has had two new goal posts installed.
Milton Road Cemetery – has had quite a lot of anti-social behaviour and drug offenses over recent weeks. These have been reported to the police and liaison with the PCSO’s who are patrolling through the cemetery as and when they can, to show a presence and to try to move these individuals on.
The team have stained the benches and planters at the cemetery to preserve them and improve the look.
General – With the current mild weather the Team are continuing to strim, mow, cut back hedges, clear any brambles, edge footpaths across our play areas and parks and our Cemetery.
The team painted the Brunel Train after it was subject to graffiti.
