The exquisite neo-14th century Gothic Chapel is opening its doors Every Wednesday: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Designed in 1856 by Mr. Charles Davies, this Victorian Garden Cemetery offers a serene escape with native and exotic trees, enchanting pathways, and panoramic views.
The Cemetery is a haven for wildlife with foxes, deer and badgers living there and an abundance of bird life, with Green woodpeckers and owls often heard around the site. The memorial garden, a cherished space, serves as the eternal resting place for beloved family members.

We understand the heartfelt desire to honour loved ones by leaving tokens of remembrance. However, we kindly request your cooperation in refraining from leaving items at gravesides, especially in the memorial garden. Glass, fairy lights, tinsel, baubles, plastic and ceramic items while symbolically meaningful, pose hazards to both wildlife and grounds maintenance.

Fairy light wires can entangle bird’s legs, and broken glass can harm both people and animals. The grounds team faces challenges in maintaining the cemetery’s beauty when faced with these items. Let’s work together to keep Milton Road Cemetery a pristine Victorian Garden, free from litter and distractions.

To provide a dedicated space for remembrance, Weston Town Council proudly announces the opening of the Gothic Chapel every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm (when funerals are not taking place).
This tranquil environment allows the public to reflect upon lost loved ones.

In the spirit of preserving the cemetery’s identity and natural beauty, we kindly ask visitors not to leave items within Milton Road Cemetery. Your understanding and cooperation are truly appreciated as we strive to maintain this sacred space for everyone.
